Hydrabadi Biryani Pulao


Ingredients

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 cup vegetables(french beans, carrot, cauliflower, pea,potat)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 green chillies
  • As required Whole garam masale (cinnamon, Cardamom, 2 clove, javitry, anise flower)
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup curd
  • 2 tbsp green coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp biryani masala
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp shahi jeera
  • Few drops kewda water
  • 4 tbsp ghee

Steps

  1. Wash and soak the basmati rice in water for about 1 hour.
  2. Now take deep pan, heat on medium flame, add jeera let them splutter, now add all khade masale in it
  3. Now add chopped onion, and ginger garlic paste, saute them it onion become pink in colour.
  4. Now add chopped veggies, green chillies, mix well, also add curd, mint leaves, and biryani masala, garam masala
  5. Now add rice carefully mix it
  6. Add 3 cups of water, kewda water and salt, gently mix it,.
  7. Cover with lid, and Cook the biryani on slow flame, in between stir it
  8. Once rice cooked well switch off the flame. And leave it for 15 mins.
  9. Biryani is ready to eat serve it with raita.
