Curd Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 2 cups curd
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 tsp jeera
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 green chilli
  • 4-5 curry leaves
  • Pinch hing
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup roasted almond, cashew
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seed
  • 2 tbsp green coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp urad daal
  • as per taste Salt
  • 4 majjige chili
  • 1/2 lime juice

Steps

  1. Mix curd and rice well together.
  2. Add pomegranate, dry fruits lime juice mix all well.
  3. Now take a pan heat ghee, in it add chopped jeera, mustard seeds hing, green chilies, curry leaves urad daal, let them crackle, now add grated ginger and majjige chili.
  4. Pour this tadka on curd rice mix well.
  5. Garnish with grated carrot, serve immediately with pickle.
